Actiphage TB diagnostic releases bacterial DNA for qPCR


We are actively seeking commercial partnerships, says Jonnie Yewdall, Chief Commercial Officer, for PBD Biotech and gives a number of examples of the types of organisations that might benefit from collaboration:

  • Diagnostic service laboratories in specific geographical areas (Human or Bovine TB)
  • Product distributors for Actiphage kits (Human or Bovine TB)
  • Food manufacturers/ suppliers seeking ability to detect bacterial contamination in foodstuffs
  • Organisations with interests in screening non-bovine species for bovine TB
  • Companies interested in developing new rapid diagnostic assays for live bacterial infections using phage-based technology. Licensing or R&D partnerships considered.
