The Breaking Boundaries category celebrates transformational companies and individuals who embrace growth opportunities.
At the awards ceremony, hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan, Dr Berwyn Clarke, co-founder and CEO of PBD Biotech, commented, “We established PBD Biotech less than two years ago, so to be recognised as breaking boundaries and knowledge pioneers – alongside established international companies – is a real testament to how far we’ve already come.
“Congratulations to FXHome and Chadwicks, respectively.”
The Norfolk Business Awards highlight the people and companies who are achieving and excelling in East Anglia – setting an example to others and representing the region on a national and international stage.
Since 2016, PBD Biotech has gained UK Government approval for exceptional private use of their Actiphage® diagnostic; proven efficacy in the field; opened an office in Canada; and started international trials.
Next week, Dr Clarke will be in India, as part of the UK Government Department of International Trade delegation, discussing the advantages of the company’s Actiphage test with farmers, dairy producers and healthcare providers.
